By integrating three innovative technologies of single-cell multi-omics, genome editing, and machine learning, we aim to address the following three research questions:
- What are the genetic and molecular drivers of phenotypic heterogeneity across cells, organs, individuals, and species?
- How does the collective behavior of a community of cells emerge from the behavior and cellular interactions of individual cells?
- What are the roles of cellular heterogeneity in the collective behavior of organs or individuals across environments, diseases and species?
